"The music of Psyche Corporation is unique, twisted, and unforgettably dream-like. Combining her multi-octave, classically trained voice with lush, hypnotic electronic atmospheres and beats, she seduces us into her shadowy, inner fairy tale world of gothic love, sci-fi mind games and obsession. There's really nothing to compare it to. I always just want to hear more from this truly gifted artist."

"But we happened to stick around for the performance by Psyche Corporation and that was actually fantastic (surprise!) Easily the best thing about the festival and it made the whole thing worthwhile.
[P. Chimère] (Psyche Corporation) appears young, perhaps fresh out of college, and has the ability to jump wholeheartedly into nightmare territories, to write songs with themes like robot armageddon, necromancy, a sentient building trapping a child in an elevator. She seems both invested in these whimsical nightmare stories yet also self-aware."
"Seeing Psyche Corporation perform, knowing nothing about them before [P. Chimère] started singing, I was struck by the way the lyrics ventured unflinching into a rich world of dreams and nightmares full of fantastic imagery. Not to mention music that wends through my gauntlet of exacting taste to charm my ear in uniquely sweet and deadly fashion."

"Psyche Corporation's sound is kind of a mix of rock, goth, with a touch of techno and electronica (is there really that big of a difference? Hmmmm...) Musically, the songs have to do with a future where the internet is basically plugged directly into your brain and dreams are custom made. There's more to it than that, so I'll just say if this sounds like it might be up your alley, check them out! I actually bought one of her CD's last night, listened to it this morning, and found it to be extremely thought-provoking. Nice diversion from the norm, actually! Trippy, trippy stuff, and I've gotta say this: [P. Chimère] has a voice that can only be described as angelic. This girl is GOOD!"

Reviews of "Pretend" 2009/2010
*****
Psyche Corporaton play theatrical (occasionally almost histrionic), industrial tinged, rock that I can best describe as "steampunk friendly". On their third outing, "Pretend", the music positively drips texture and drama.
There's quite a bit going on here: from the baroque pop influences found on "Wonderland" and "End of the World (People Say)" to the neo-metal, schizophrenic rock of "Minor Demon" to the disco-y "Get Down". The end result is less cyberpunk than heavy-duty electro-pop.
Luckily vocalist [P. Chimère] has the range for all of this, it's her voice that makes the music fly. It's her voice that that could easily find its way into mainstream pop music. Thankfully her musical vision is too beautifully fractured for this to happen any time soon.

"With singing talent and sound like this, I surely wouldn't be going overboard if I were to draw a comparison with Emilie Autumn. The young lady Psyche Chimère has released the third album of her solo project, Psyche Corporation. She made this record entirely on her own, and I don't even know what to say about its level of polished completeness!
Bearing a close resemblance to Emilie Autumn and Kate Bush with her creepy, mysterious vocals, the mademoiselle Psyche Chimère delivers an overwhelming, voluptuous, diva-esque performance. The backing sounds include elements of Electro-Goth, Neo-Folk, Trip-Hop and Gothic Metal, and will hold the listener prisoner in an evil, melancholic sonic world. It's outrageous that a piece of work as fantastic as this one is only an indie record!
I'm sincerely hoping that soon this artist will get a contract with a good label so she can make a real debut. In any case, I couldn't say enough good things about this wonderful album."

Reviews of "Worlds on a String" 2007
*****
"The music bears a close resemblance to Kate Bush and her song is fascinating and powerful. This is the solo musician's song. Her name is Miss Psyche Chimère. She released her second new album "Worlds on a String".
The music is a dark, melancholic and enchanting soundscape of Electro-Goth/Neo-Folk/Trip-Hop.
Her vocals are expressively beautiful, plaintive and emotional and fit this music well.
I think this album is the secret and biggest treasure in this month."
