Psyche Chimère

aka vocals, production, composition, choreography, dance, costume design, graphics for Psyche Corp.

As the official story goes, popular dream-manufacturer Psyche Corporation sent a representative into the past to take care of early subliminal marketing missions and public relations. The rep took a look at the pre-Psi-net demographic and decided to start a music-based promotion project.

However, it is rumored that in fact this time traveler was banished from the future during the aftermath of a massive power struggle amidst the executive board of Psyche Corp., the Shadow Court. Supposedly she was next in line for the highest seat on the board, but jealous colleagues plotted to overthrow her. Since by then protective nanotechnologies and electroencephalocoders had made murder very difficult, they decided to bifurcate time and stick her in a place where she couldn't get back to them. After all, how could she single-handedly re-create all the key events and technological advances necessary to get the split timeline back on track with the original? ...But of course this is nothing but vile scuttlebutt and drivel.

Arydaea

aka choreography, dance, graphics, costume design, and live Tweedle Dum for Psyche Corp.

Arydaea started out initially as an intern at Psyche Corporation, assigned to assist Psyche Chimère. Shortly thereafter, she was moved into a position of Dreamscape Designer, that seeming to be suited to her talents. However, for reasons somewhat unclear (though many rumors surround it), she was quickly moved from that position, and sent back into the past to assist Psyche Chimère with her work in early subliminal marketing- which lead to her joining the band on stage as a dancer.

The official explanation for her sudden change in position is that her knowledge of Dreamscape Design and previous experience working for Psyche Chimère would be most invaluable for the campaign.

Now, some of the rumors are that she actually created a program allowing her back door access into any dream, and complete takeover of any character created within, and that she was caught just moments before completely launching this program world wide. It is said that she was sent into the past both as punishment, and that those higher up saw this as a convenient way to actually use her talents to their advantage. After all, she had proven herself to be quite influential within the program.

However, other rumors go so far as to suggest that Arydaea actually came from the past in the first place, and was recruited by Psyche Chimère, as part of a much larger plot, which is thus far going exactly according to plan...

...but of course, these too are rumors.

Akiri

aka choreography, dance, guitar performance for Psyche Corp.

Akiri got her start as the assistant to the assistant Arydaea. From there, she decided that dance was really fun and so was symmetry of two dancers on a stage, and so she became one of the two dancers of Psyche Corporation. Together and apart Arydaea and Akiri weave dreams into reality on stage with their legs, arms, torsos, scarves, ribbons and other various mediums. Akiri spends time in the woods collecting landscape images to concoct her visual creations from dream memory, although she tries very hard to trap her dreams for future reference.

In fact, this is how Akiri spends much of her time; trying to trap the dreams she can barely remember, the vague memories that plague and fascinate her. Unfortunately she is often left with only a vague idea of what she dreamed or dreams. Akiri and Arydaea spend time remembering together as well; they both enjoy creating new movements together.

From time to time Akiri is also employed by Psyche Corporation. They wish to capture the memories she remembers and do this weekly when they can. They use her dreams to market new products to those who have run out of dreams themselves. Someday Akiri will soar to the outer regions of the Psyche Corporation Universe and create new constellations from the inventive animals and shapes she sees in her dreams.
