Sometime after the events of "Meant to Be", technology in the Shadow Court dynasty becomes advanced enough that one talented synthetic individual, the Shadow Queen of the time period in question, begins construction of an entire universe, housed on the largest dream server ever built. The resemblance to the real universe is striking, to the point where theories of nested universes experience an overwhelming revival.
